Police: Man Climbed Over Counter to Steal Cash in Bank Robbery

The Villa Rica Police Department is looking for a suspect in the Monday morning robbery at the Community and Southern Bank, located at 725 Bankhead Highway.

The department posted surveillance camera images of the suspect on Facebook.

Police said the robbery took place shortly before 9:30 a.m. Monday. The suspect allegedly handed a note to the teller, demanding money. He then climbed over the counter and took money from the cash drawer and ran out of the building.
