Police Make Quick Work to Find Missing Elderly Man

Douglasville PD posted an alert Thursday afternoon on Facebook; 15 minutes later he was found.

Around 15 minutes after posting an alert on Facebook on the search for a missing man from an adult daycare center on Stewart Parkway, Douglasville Police said the man has been found.

“Thanks to everyone for their shares and quick action. Mr. Braswell has been located!!!” the agency reported.

Douglasville PD posted an alert just before 4 p.m., saying Edward Braswell had jumped a fence and ran away from the facility. By 4:10 p.m., police announced he had been found.

Douglasville PD is looking for a missing man who apparently ran away from an adult daycare facility on Stewart Parkway.

Edward Braswell, 73, was last seen jumping a fence and running into the woods behind the facility.

He was wearing brown Dickie pants and a brown short.

“He is not violent, but suffers from dementia,” the agency said in the post.
