Remodel Of Villa Rica Walmart Supercenter Complete

Store updates layout, adds features to enhance shopper experience.

VILLA RICA, GA – The Villa Rica Walmart Supercenter at 600 Carrollton Villa Rica Highway is one of the first Walmart stores in Georgia this year to complete a remodel, including an updated pharmacy area with private consultation rooms and a state-of-the-art electronics department. Part of a highly anticipated store-wide remodel, these updates are aimed at saving customers time and money.

“Bringing more convenience to Walmart shoppers in Villa Rica is something we constantly are striving to achieve,” said Jake Hobbs, Villa Rica Walmart store manager. “The layout of this store has not been updated in nearly 18 years. We are thrilled for our customers to experience these updates designed to improve their shopping experience.”

The following are among the new and innovative features incorporated into the Villa Rica Walmart Supercenter:

In March, Walmart announced it expects to spend an estimated $38 million over the next year in Georgia through the remodeling of 11 stores, including the Villa Rica store, as well as the rollout of several in-store and online innovations designed to further improve the customer experience. The spend is part of Walmart’s expected capital total guidance of approximately $11 billion for Fiscal Year 2019, which was outlined last October at the company’s annual meeting for the investment community and reiterated in February 2018.
