Report: Motorist Dies After Striking I-20 Bridge
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the Tuesday morning accident at North County Line Road in Douglas County.
A motorist died Tuesday morning on Interstate 20 in Douglas County after a collision with a bridge.
The Georgia State Patrol said the single-car accident occurred at 8:53 a.m. in the median at North County Line Road, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. The driver ran off the road, sidewiped the guardrail and struck the bridge support.
The driver’s identity was not released, pending notification of the family.
