The illegal parking was posted on the sheriff's office's Facebook page last month.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office deputy was suspended by the department for parking his patrol car in a handicap spot last month, according to news reports.

Department spokesman Lt. Glenn Daniel told the AJC that Deputy Michael Beske had been suspended without pay for one day for illegally parking on Sept. 26.

The photo was posted on the sheriff’s office Facebook page on Sept. 26 (see below), prompting the county to look into the incident.
