Ricky Dale Leonhardt, age 25, of Winston, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014. He was born on October 23, 1988, in Clayton County, the son of Dewey Dirck Leonhardt and Lisa White Leonhardt. He graduated from Alexander High School in 2007 and worked in Warehousing as a Forklift Operator. He was Baptist by faith.

He is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, Darrell Leonhardt; Paternal Grandmother, Judith Moore; Maternal Grandfather, Gerald White; and Maternal Step-Grandmother, Ailene White.

He is survived by his parents, Dewey and Lisa Leonhardt of Winston; brother and sister-in-law, Luke and Emily Leonhardt of Douglasville; niece, Loren Leonhardt; Maternal Grandmother, Ruby Morrison of Lawndale, North Carolina; aunts and uncles, Thomas and Patti W. Bivins, Donna and Terry McClincic, Robin and Wayne Hendrick, Danny Leonhardt, and David and Sonja Leonhardt; close cousins, Alec Bivins and Shane Bivins; other cousins: Steve Leonhardt, Kelli Leonhardt, Justin, Amy, and Travis McClincic, Tina Lewis, and Danielle Collins.

Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel in Douglasville with Minister Mike Mallory officiating. A Memorial Reception will follow the service in Hightower’s Family Care Center.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 31, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour.

In accordance with his wishes, his body was cremated.
