RockTenn to Hold Jobs Fair at Douglas Courthouse

RockTenn, a manufacturing facility located in southeastern Douglas County, is holding a Jobs Fair Thursday, June 11th, from 3 - 6 p.m. in the Douglas County Courthouse, 8700 Hospital Drive, in Douglasville (30134).

RockTenn is seeking applicants for the following second shift positions:
• line leaders (responsible for the leadership of assembly production lines including quotas, quality, inventory and overall efficiency);
• quality auditors (hourly line checks, verify incoming/outgoing shipments; computer & paperwork,
• maintenance technicians (with two years production or related experience - routine, preventive and emergency maintenance repairs/services on facility equipment; installation of new equipment; troubleshooting equipment problems), and
• forklift drivers (with two years forklift experience - responsible for supplying production lines, loading/unloading trucks, using RF scanners and paperwork).
No other positions are open and applications will not be taken for any positions other than the ones listed.

Application forms will be available for completion at the Jobs Fair, and all applicants will have the opportunity to have their application/resume reviewed during the Jobs Fair.

All positions start at $12 per hour with shift differential. All positions have overtime opportunities. RockTenn offers a great benefit package after two months of employment. A solid work history, good math and communication skills are required. All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.
