Sample Some Summer Wine
Savor summer and sample some of Florida's specialty wines while enjoying light hors d'oeuvres and music at the Douglasville Summer Sampler July 29 and 30.

Savor summer and sample some of Florida's specialty wines while enjoying light hors d’oeuvres and music at the Douglasville Summer Sampler July 29 and 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. each evening. San Sebastian Winery, ranked one of Florida's premium wineries, will offer samples of table, sparkling and dessert wines from hybrid and muscadine grapes. The two-day event will be held July 29 at the , and July 30 at the clubhouse. Guests will have the opportunity to sample six of San Sebastian's sweet, dry and blush wines, and can purchase their favorite products online at www.sansebastianwinery.com or at participating .
"Come experience San Sebastian's premier wines and their offerings of vineyard produced muscadines and bunch-grape varieties. The wine tasting is both fun and educational and will feature great giveaways," said Stephanie Alyworth, City of Douglasville Main Street manager. "Last year was our first Summer Sampler and it was a huge success. This year, we expect to have at least 100 guests present each evening."
Attendees must be at least 21-years-old with proof of ID. Tickets are $15 per person, each evening and includes a souvenir stem less wineglass. Advance tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at the Douglasville Welcome Center, or on-line at www.downtowndouglasville.org. Guests purchasing tickets online must print and save receipt for admittance the day of the event. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.
