Search Continues 13 Years Later For Killer Of Douglasville Woman

Maryanne Humphrey died in September 2009 while working at a Douglasville gas station.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Authorities are searching for a suspect in the 2009 killing of Maryanne Humphrey, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office Wednesday.

According to the sheriff's office, Humphrey was killed on Sept. 21, 2009, at a gas station in the 5700 block of West Stuart Mill Road.

Channel 2 Action News reported Humphrey was working at the gas station when a masked gunman attempted to rob it. The outlet reported the 63-year-old woman was shot and killed while fighting back.
