BREAKING: Serious 7-Car Accident At I-20, SR 5
BREAKING: The Georgia Department of Transportation is reporting a seven-car, serious injury accident at I-20 West and SR 5.
DOUGLASVILLE, GA — The Georgia Department of Transportation is reporting a seven-car, serious injury accident at I-20 Westbound before State Route 5. All lanes are blocked. Traffic is already stopped all the way back to Lee Rd.
People are encouraged to use Hwy 78 and Bankhead Highways as alternate routes.
A medical helicopter is reportedly on the scene.

A report from GDOT at 6:21 p.m. estimates that the blocked lanes will be clear at approximately 7 p.m.
