Sex Offenders in Douglasville Ordered to Report to Old County Jail on Halloween Night

Sex offenders on parole in Georgia are prohibited from participating in Halloween activities.

Paroled sex offenders are not allowed to participate in Halloween activities tonight, the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles said in a news release.

That means sex offenders on parole have a dusk-to-dawn curfew, must keep their outside lights on and are prohibited from answering the door, except for law enforcement. Halloween decorations are not allowed.

Some offenders, such as in Douglas County, may be directed to “programming,” and all are subject to compliance checks.
