Sheriff Seeking Woman Accused of Killing Romantic Rival

Douglas County authorities say Shontori Gooden shot Nyla Foster in an argument about a man.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Douglas County authorities are looking for a woman they believe shot and killed another woman in an argument over a man.

Shontori Gooden, 21, has been identified as a suspect in the death of Nyla Foster on Saturday.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Gooden shot Foster, also 21, in a parking lot in Lithia Springs after the two got into an argument.

A reward is being offered for Gooden's capture and conviction, according to the sheriff's office.

She is described as standing 5'5" and weighing about 160 pounds. She is known to also go by the names "Tori" and "Brittney."
