The Douglasville Police Department is accepting applications for its Citizens Law Enforcement Academy.

The 10-week program begins March 10, with classes held every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (dinne is provided).
The classes give attendees a look inside what police officers do every day. Many of the classes are interactive.

Topics include: investigations, traffic/motor division, DUI simulator, gang investigations, 911 Center, narcotics interdiction, firearms training simulator, K-9 operations, SWAT, firearms instruction, and crime scene processins.
