Stephen Douglas Boyd, 57, Dies

Stephen Douglas Boyd, 57 of Lithia Springs, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24. He was born May 23, 1956 in Douglasville. Mr. Boyd worked as a drywall installer and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Mr. Boyd was preceded in death by his father, Oliver Street Boyd, Jr.; his mother, Clara James Boyd; and a brother, Tony Boyd.

He is survived by his sister, Debra Stockwell and her husband, Walter of Austell, GA; sister, Donna Paige and her husband, Lynn Dunn of Lithia Springs, GA; brother, Scott Boyd of Lithia Springs, GA; sister-in-law, Karen Boyd of Chesapeake, VA; eleven nieces and nephews; nine great-nieces and great nephews.

A memorial service is planned for Friday, Sept. 27 at 2 p.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel.
