Suspects ID'd in Douglasville Carjacking at Knifepoint

Felony charges have been filed on three teenagers accused of carjacking a vehicle at knifepoint last month in Douglasville.

Douglasville Police identified the suspects as Brenton Ellis, 17, Marquavius Green, 18, and Quinn Byrd, 19, all of whom also are suspected in carjackings reported in Fulton County and the City of Atlanta.
Douglasville PD said in a press release the three suspects are currently in jail in other jurisdictions charged with numerous carjackings.

Police said on Jan. 26, a female victim was finished pumping gas and was sitting in her Chevy Traverse at the Shell gas station at 1104 Thornton Road when she was approached by a masked male armed with a knife.
“The male subject put the knife to her face and told her to get out of the car,” police said in the release. “In the process of the attack, the male subject cut the female’s finger with the knife.”
He fled the scene with two other vehicles, which were reported stolen in Atlanta and Fulton.
