'Trunk Or Treat' Set For Saturday In Douglasville

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Thousands of costumed kids are expected to hit the Douglas County Courthouse Sunday evening for Trunk or Treat.

The 6th-annual event, sponsored by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office and Douglasville Police Department, will run from 4-8 p.m. It's intended for children under the age of 14.

Sponsors will be handing out candy to the kids and food vendors and other booths will be set up, offering food and refreshments.

The courthouse is located at 8700 Hospital Dr. in Douglasville.

Anyone who would like to donate store-bought candy for the event may do so in the lobby of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office or Douglasville Police Department.
