Two Clerks Wounded in Gas Station Robbery Attempt (Updated)
Douglasville Police say there are multiple suspects.

A reward is being offered for the capture of armed robbers who wounded two clerks at a Douglasville gas station early Tuesday.
Douglasville Police said the employees — a man and a woman — were shot during a robbery attempt at the RaceTrac station on Fairburn Road around 12:18 a.m. Tuesday. Both employees were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. The injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
Fox5 reported the woman victim, who had been shot in the leg, had been released from the hospital as of early Tuesday afternoon. The man, who was shot in the abdomen, required surgery, the TV station reported.

WSB-TV reported no customers were inside the store when gunmen entered, possibly from the back of the building.
Fox5 reported police are looking for four suspects in the case.

Douglasville Police posted on Facebook that it was offering a reward of $5,000 for information leading to the capture and conviction of the people involved. Soon after, RaceTrac added $5,000 to the reward fund.

“The entire RaceTrac family was saddened to hear of the incident involving two of our team members late yesterday evening. Our thoughts and prayers are with our team members, their families and friends at this time. The safety of our team members and guests is our number one priority and we are working closely with local authorities in their investigation. We consider our team members family, and we take their safety and well-being very seriously. The Douglasville Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward for information regarding this incident and RaceTrac will match that reward for a total of $10,000 for information leading to arrests and convictions in this case.
