Victim Identified In Fatal Douglasville Shooting, Teen Arrested

DOUGLASVILLE, GA—The Douglasville Police Department has identified the victim in Friday's deadly Valentine's Day shooting.

According to police, the victim has been identified as 25-year-old Dequandre Johnson of Douglasville.

Police say 19-year-old Gary Lamoore Parker II has been taken into custody and charged with the victim's murder and aggravated assault.

On Friday evening, responded to a person shot in the area of Oak Street in Douglasville. When they arrived, they say they found Parker's body.

Detectives have not said what led up to the shooting and are continuing to investigate.
