This Video Wins International Speech Contest For Douglas Student
This Mt. Carmel Elementary kindergarten student won a grand prize for this speech out of 500 videos sent in from around the world.
DOUGLASVILLE, GA – A kindergarten student from Mt. Carmel Elementary had his speech selected has a grand prize winner out of 500 videos that were submitted by students from throughout the world.
Jack Adams was one of eight grand prize winners for the Franklin Covey Leader in Me International Student Speech Contest. Two speeches from four age categories were selected as grand prize winners.
His speech, titled "Jack C. Adams – Student Principal," was a humorous presentation on leadership. Jack plans to use his $500 prize to purchase his Nana's children's books to donate to all the elementary schools in Douglas County. The money left over will go toward college savings.
