Vietnam Vet Richard 'Dick' Grant Vots, 68, Dies
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 11 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Lithia Spring.

Richard (Dick) Grant Vots, 68 of Douglasville, passed away on Nov. 12. He was born in Lackawanna, NY., and graduated from Bentley High School in Livonia, MI. Dick was married to Dianne Haley Vots for 46 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era. Dick spent the past 23 years working as a Project Manager with Jones Lang LaSalle at Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Ulysses Simpson Grant Vots and Esther Barbara Parpart Vots.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister, Kathy and Alfonso Flores IV, his children, John and Tonya Vots of Douglasville; Julia and Andy Hatfield of Douglasville; Alex and Tawnia Vots of Atlanta. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Matthew Vots; Camden, Haley and Callan Hatfield; Madi and Drew Thomas and Grant Vots.
