Weather Alert: Afternoon Severe Storms Possible in Douglasville
The National Weather Service says storms could hit while buses are taking kids home from school.

Severe weather is possible Thursday afternoon, potentially impacting Douglas County children returning home from school.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City said an upper lever disturbance could spark scattered to numerous thunderstorms for much of central and north Georgia.
Some of the storms could be severe north of a line roughly from Columbus to Dublin. The greatest threat is between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m., the weather service said.
