Weather Alert: Flash Flood Warning in Douglas County
The warning is in effect for the western half of the county.

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Flash Flood Warning for an area in west-central Georgia, including western Douglas County.
The warning is in effect until 8:15 p.m.
Douglasville and Villa Rica are in the warned area.

According to the weather service, thurnderstorms were dumping heavy rain on the area as of 3 p.m. Up to 2 inches of rain had already fallen on western Douglas County and the Dog River basin.
Additional rainfall of an inch is possible in the area, the weather service said.
