Alexander 19, Douglas County 7 – quarterback Dempsey Abernathy rushed for 132 yards and scored Friday as Alexander roughed up the visiting , according to the <a href="http://blogs.ajc.com/georgia-high-school-sports/2011/10/01/alexander-19-douglas-county-7/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Atlanta Journal-Constitution</a>. The Tigers, which had been improving over the last three weeks in scoring, only reached the end zone once against Alexander and lost its sixth-straight game of the season. Alexander has now won three of its last four games and is only a half-game behind Chapel Hill in the Region 5S-AAAA standings. Chapel Hill – Bye week
