William 'Bill' Foster Anderson, Jr., 61, of Douglasville

William “Bill” Foster Anderson, Jr., age 61, of Douglasville passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 15, 2014. He was born on July 15, 1953 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late William Foster Anderson, Sr. and the late Betty Jane Hill Anderson. He was employed at Robert Bosch, LLC. where he worked as a maintenance technician for 33 years. He was Baptist by Faith.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, DeLores Q. Smith Anderson; son, Adam A. Anderson of Douglasville; step-daughters, Connie B. Phillips and husband William Joseph, Buffie A. Daniell all of Douglasville; step-son, Robbie L. Daniell and wife Denise of Douglasville; sisters, Lynnette C. Rathbone of St. Louis, Missouri, Judith Windham and husband Larry of Seminary, Mississippi; grandson, Jason P. Phillips and wife Kelly of Sugar Hill, Georgia; great grandchildren, Cody J. Phillips, Daniel H. Phillips; nieces, Tina Carter and husband Buster of Collins, Mississippi, Melissa Bowman of St. Louis, Missouri; four great-nephews; one great-niece.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Richard Brittain officiating. Interment will follow in the Prays Mill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
