DOUGLASVILLE, GA — The Douglasville Police will be either hosting or sponsoring multiple upcoming events for the community.

These events will honor military veterans, promote wellness and bring families together over food and music.

Evening Yoga

What: Yoga

When: 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12

Where: Douglasville Police Community Center, 2083 Fairburn Road

Hosted by: Douglasville Police and Keep It Moving Yoga and Barre

Admission: Free

What You'll Need: A mat

Veterans Appreciation and Car Show

What: Car show honoring military veterans that will include food, music and vendors

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15
