Eddie Owen Presents Kelley Swindall + Ira Wolf

Kelley Swindall was born and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia, where she grew up listening to the music of Kris Kristofferson, Patsy Cline, and David Allen Coe on the way to church every Sunday morning, because that’s what her daddy listened to. The rest of the week she listened to the Atlanta oldies station, fox97, because that’s what her ride listened to. When she was old enough to drive herself, she added Ryan Adams, Tom Petty, Dylan, The Band, and Skynyrd to the mix.

Drawing from her southern background, her style is a unique blend of soulful dark & bluesy folk coupled with a witty, gritty, old school country sensibility, inspired by the outlaw tradition. Rooted in story songs and talking blues, her debut album “kelley swindall (pronounced ke le swin ‘dl)“ was released in July of ‘14.

She splits her time between NYC, Savannah, Ga, and the road, where she performs regularly as both a solo artist and with The Kelley Swindall Band.

An independent new-folk singer/songwriter, Ira Wolf uses her Americana melodies and honest lyrics to connect on an intimate and vulnerable level with her audience, and is inspired by each new experience her adventurous life has given her thus far.

After briefly studying at the University of Montana in Missoula, and Berklee College of Music in Boston, Ira left school in 2012 in pursuit of something bigger. She then traveled for a year, exploring Europe, Asia and Australia, writing, recording, and learning about the world and herself. In the summer of 2013, as a result of a coin toss, her journey led her to make a home in Nashville, Tennessee where she lived in her car for a month until she found a job as a nanny. After finding a place to live and settling in, Ira spent much of her time collaborating with some of Nashville’s top writers and musicians, and set out on her very first tour up the east coast and throughout part of the Midwest in May 2014.

After that first tour, Ira worked tirelessly to release her debut album, ‘Fickle Heart’ in September 2014. Ira continues touring extensively throughout the states and is currently working on a new EP for 2016.
