Music, Steak Cookoff headline Duluth museum’s Caboose Days

This year's Caboose Days runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 24

The Southeastern Railway Museum will kick off its annual music series with a pair of performances during March’s Caboose Days & Steak Cookoff.

This year’s Caboose Days runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 24.

This year’s Caboose days features a Steak Cookoff Association (SCA) sanctioned event. Teams will compete on Saturday, March 23, and the competition’s judges will announce winners at 3:30 p.m. that day.

On Sunday, the museum will announce the winners of its annual photo competition.

Young Again Band will perform from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 23. The Atlanta-based group performs songs written and inspired by legendary singer Neil Young.

Singer/songwriter Todd DeFeo will perform sardonic and topical folk songs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 24. His set will include the debut of several new railroad-inspired songs.
Bill’s Grills on Wheels will sell lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days.
