'Signature Event': 36th Annual Duluth Tree Lighting Set Dec. 6

Event kicks off at 4pm with fun activities for children such as arts and crafts, letters to Santa, inflatables, and City Hall Open House.

The City of Duluth’s signature event of the year is right around the corner.

The 36th annual Duluth Tree Lighting will surely help bring in the holiday season for many on Saturday, December 6th.

The event kicks off at 4pm with fun activities for children such as arts and crafts, letters to Santa, inflatables, and City Hall Open House.

The Tree Lighting ceremony will begin at 6PM.

“We really enjoy hosting this event because is just rounds out the year. We love to see all the little faces just memorized with all the lights, activities, and of course Santa Claus” said Event Coordinator Maggie Waddell.

BB Harris Elementary & Duluth High School Chorus will hit the stage in an epic performance of holiday classics. Santa and his reindeer will

round out the event. The event is free to the public and residents are encouraged to come out and bring in the holiday with the City of Duluth.
