Man steals gun from Dunwoody Academy Sports before fleeing (fox5atlanta.com) — Police say a man stole a firearm from the Academy Sports near Perimeter Center Parkway in Dunwoody, then ran before being caught with help from Sandy Springs officers. No one was hurt, the gun was recovered, and the suspect is now being held at the DeKalb County Jail while charges are finalized.
   

2. Dunwoody resident a finalist for Neighbor of the Year prize (appenmedia.com) — A Dunwoody resident, former Malachi's Storehouse director Judi Carlson, is a national finalist for Neighbors Bank's Neighbor of the Year award after leading massive food distributions during the pandemic. 3. Furry Friend Friday: Meet Linda! (audacy.com) — A friendly 5-year-old dog named Linda is waiting for a home just down the road at DeKalb County Animal Services on Chamblee Dunwoody Road. Weighing 61 pounds, she's described as playful, affectionate, and camera-ready, happily moving from volunteer to volunteer for attention and ball games, and can be met without an appointment.
   

4. Flock Safety's Fake Police Unit Searched Real City Cameras (gadgetreview.com) — Dunwoody's city camera network was used by vendor Flock Safety's internal "Flock City PD" demo account to run AI searches for political and religious imagery, including at sensitive local sites. A Dunwoody resident's records requests exposed the practice, and the mayor says Flock has now agreed to stop using the city's camera feeds for commercial demonstrations, though broader accountability questions remain.
