• Laurens voters to decide on new sales tax (courierheraldtoday.com) — East Dublin residents could see significant property tax relief if Laurens County voters approve a new one‑cent Floating Local Option Sales Tax, with part of the $13.5 million raised flowing directly to the city government. The proposal would shift more of the tax burden onto visitors while lowering millage rates for homes, farms, and businesses across Laurens County's municipalities, including East Dublin.
