Identity of Marietta House Fire Victim Released

Cobb County public safety officials have identified the man who was killed in a house fire in Marietta on Tuesday morning.

Phillip L. Perry, 55, was found dead inside the home at 1905 Heritage Green Drive shortly after firefighters were called out to the home just before 10:30 a.m., according to spokesman Dana Pierce. Perry was found inside one of the homes’ bedrooms.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the blaze.
