• New Verizon cell sites bring expanded 4G and 5G coverage to Forsyth's problem areas (wgxa.tv) — Forsyth residents are getting significantly better cell service, with new Verizon 4G and 5G sites now live downtown and along I-75, including an antenna on the city water tower behind City Hall. Local leaders say the upgrades finally address long-standing coverage complaints, improving reliability for businesses, visitors, and even 911 calls throughout Forsyth's busiest areas.
   

• Atrium Health Navicent to host Mammo Marathon events throughout October (41nbc.com) — Women in Forsyth can get walk-in mammograms on October 7 at Atrium Health Navicent Imaging Monroe on North Lee Street, with extended hours from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Mammo Marathon, running throughout October at several Middle Georgia sites, aims to make breast cancer screening easier by dropping appointment and doctor's order requirements and stressing early detection.
