• GSC, Upson Regional Medical Center create nursing scholarship-to-career pathway (griffindailynews.com) — Barnesville’s Gordon State College is teaming up with Upson Regional Medical Center to offer nursing scholarships that lead directly to full-time jobs after graduation. Ten GSC nursing students can receive $2,500 per semester toward tuition and books in exchange for a two-year work commitment at URMC, helping local students afford school while strengthening the region’s healthcare workforce close to home.
