• How gas prices have changed in Georgia in the last week (macon.com) — Drivers in Gainesville are paying about $3.83 per gallon for regular gas as of Oct. 9, just under the most expensive prices in Georgia. The statewide average has dipped slightly over the past week but remains nearly a dollar higher than last year, with Gainesville sitting mid-pack among Georgia metros while the state still enjoys the nation's lowest average price.
