DeKalb Sheriff Jeff Mann Apologizes For 'Unfavorable Light' Following Arrest
Days after his arrest, DeKalb County Sheriff Jeffrey Mann faced reporters Friday for the first time since his arrest on indecency charges and obstruction charges. Mann appeared at the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters with a handful of supporters, including his attorney, Noah Pines, at his side along with former Sheriff Tom Brown.

Student Stabbed at Woodstock High School; Teen Suspect In Custody
One student has been taken into custody following the alleged stabbing of another pupil Friday afternoon at Woodstock High School. Cherokee Sheriff's Office spokesperson Lt. Jay Baker said the attack prompted the Cherokee County School District to implement a Code Red alert for both Woodstock Middle and High schools following the incident.
