• LCDA closes year of progress, investments (coastalcourier.com) — Liberty County’s development authority reports a year of major investments that directly affect Hinesville, including a new manufacturer at Hinesville Technology Park and a new Hinesville Fire Department training center. Expanded industrial sites, workforce programs, and airport support aim to grow local jobs, strengthen the tax base, and improve long-term services for residents across Hinesville and Liberty County. 
• City of Hinesville issues boil water advisory (wsav.com) — Hinesville residents in several neighborhoods and at Liberty County High School are under a boil water advisory after a water main break on Highway 84 near the Performing Arts Center. If you experienced low pressure or outages, officials say you should boil tap water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and making ice, or use bottled water, until the city lifts the advisory.
• Tributes from the community abound at Parton memory book (coastalcourier.com) — Hinesville residents are adding their names and messages to a community memory book honoring the late Dolly Parton, organized by Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Signatures from Hinesville, Midway, Fort Stewart, and former Liberty County residents will be sent to Parton’s Imagination Library as a shared thank-you, with plans to keep collecting names through September 7.
