Candidate Withdraws From Johns Creek City Council Race
Trey Holladay was seeking the Post 3 seat in the Nov. 7 general municipal election.
JOHNS CREEK, GA -- The race to fill the Post 3 seat on the Johns Creek City Council has one less person. That's because Trey Holladay has announced he will withdraw his bid for the seat held by Cori Davenport, who is not seeking re-election.
Holladay said running for the open seat has been a "tremendous honor," as he loves the city and wanted to make a contribution to help solve the various issues Johns Creek is facing. He notes he's spent countless hours going door-to-door and has had the chance to speak with hundreds of resident about what matters to them.
"Speaking and working with those wonderful people has been the highlight of this experience for me," he said. Having looked more closely at the race, however, I have decided that the time is not right for me to continue as a candidate for the City Council."
