JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Trey Holladay, a local entrepreneur and homeowners association president, officially qualified for City Council Post 3 on the Johns Creek City Council.
Holladay qualified for the seat held by incumbent Cori Davenport, who decided not to seek re-election. He faces a crowded field, as fellow contenders Vicki Horton, John Bradberry and Mark Venco all qualified to run in the race.
Holladay said he plans to roll out an "aggressive agenda" to break up gridlock in Johns Creek (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Or, if you have an iPhone, download the free Patch app).

“Gridlock is too pervasive in Johns Creek," he added. "It is found on our roads and in the way our local government operates. It’s time to stop the political bickering that bogs down progress. By working together, we can implement real, meaningful solutions to our challenges, while protecting the unique charm of our community.”
The candidate's plan calls for supporting road projects that alleviate congestion while protecting residential charm; developing an "intelligent, deliberate and planned" growth policy; controlling spending and opposing tax increases and supporting term limits.
