• Johns Creek Literary Fair lands bestselling author Lawhon (appenmedia.com) — Johns Creek residents can look forward to the free Johns Creek Literary Fair on Nov. 14 at Johns Creek United Methodist Church, featuring more than 30 local authors and bestselling novelist Ariel Lawhon. The fifth annual event, presented with the city, adds a VIP reception and a suspense panel with regional writers, giving book lovers a chance to meet authors and discover new reads close to home. 
• Fulton County's lowest diesel gas price recorded at $5.59 for week ending Sept. 19 (southfultontoday.com) — Johns Creek drivers are seeing one of Fulton County's lower diesel prices, with the cheapest reported local rate at $6.29 per gallon for the week ending Sept. 19. The countywide diesel average hit $6.38, slightly above the statewide average, as analysts tie elevated fuel costs to global oil markets and refinery conditions.
• U17 MNT Roster for European Friendlies Youth Soccer (topdrawersoccer.com) — A Johns Creek-based Atlanta United academy player, Ignacio Suarez-Couri, has been called into the U.S. Under-17 Men's National Team camp in Spain as the squad prepares for the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup. The 24-player roster features prospects from MLS and European clubs who will face Ireland, Norway, and the Netherlands in friendlies.
