Qualifying Ends With 2 Candidates For Johns Creek Special Election
Early voting to fill the Post 4 seat will begin March 27 at Ocee Library.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Two candidates will appear on the April 18 special election ballot to fill the vacant Post 4 seat on the Johns Creek City Council.
Qualifying wrapped up Wednesday, March 8, and candidates Chris Coughlin and John Flores both formally filed their paperwork to become the candidates seeking to replace Bob Gray on the City Council.
Gray resigned from the Council to run for the 6th Congressional District seat vacated by Tom Price.

Early voting for the race will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 27 through April 14 at Ocee Library.
Absentee ballot voters participating in more than one concurrent special election -- 6th Congressional District and the Johns Creek special elections -- must indicate this on their applications and submit separate forms for each special election for which they are requesting a ballot.

The application for absentee ballot can be requested on the Fulton County Elections website. You can also call the election headquarters at 404-612-7020 for additional information.
Ocee Library is located at 5090 Abbotts Bridge Road in Johns Creek.
