Cops: Kennesaw Woman Stole From Employer

Kalia N. Moses worked as an associate at TJ Maxx's Barrett Parkway location.

For more than six months, Cobb authorities said a Kennesaw woman stole merchandise and money from the TJ Maxx where she worked.

Kalia N. Moses, an associate at TJ Maxx's Barrett Parkway location, was arrested Sunday on charges of felony theft by taking and misdemeanor theft by shoplifting. 

According to a criminal warrant, over a period of six months, Moses allegedly concealed or took 15 shirts, 14 pairs of underwear, five leggings and five jeggings.

Authorities also alleged that from Nov. 28 until Feb. 9, Moses approved $2,400 in fraudulent refunds and took $340 in cash from her register.

Some of the refunds were for items that were never purchased. Other items were purchased, but never returned.

Moses was released after posting $5,000 bond.
