Crane Tumbles, Destroys Kennesaw Carport
Crews were attempting to cut down a tree when the crane fell over and crashed through the carport.

A crane being used by a tree removal crew fell over and destroyed the carport of a home in Kennesaw on Tuesday evening.

According to WSB-TV, the crane-carport meeting occurred just before 6 p.m. A neighbor told the station that the elderly couple who lives at the home had hired the crew to remove a few trees from their property. Nobody was injured by the toppled crane.
11 Alive News reports that the home is located on Wooten Lake Road. The station spoke to a seasoned heavy equipment operator who believed that weather caused the destructive malfunction.
