Female Student Attacked at KSU
University officials said the attack occurred in a residence hall parking lot at about 6 a.m.

A female student was attacked by a man at about 6 a.m. today in the parking lot of a residence hall, officials said in an alert this morning.
According to the statement, the Department of Public Safety is conducting an investigation into the attack, which occurred in a parking lot at the KSU Place residence hall near the student's car.
The man is described as an African-American male with dread locks, wearing a ski mask, dark-colored sweater, jeans, colorful Nike tennis shoes and a dark-colored watch. He is said to be driving a silver car, possibly an older model Honda Civic.

The Atlanta-Journal Constitution reported that the description is similar to that of a man involved in two attacks in Atlanta this week.
