Indicted Kennesaw Doctor Out on Bond
Nedra Dodds and Kevin McCowan are facing charges related to two patients' deaths.

MARIETTA -- One of the partners who worked at a Kennesaw cosmetic surgery clinic is out on bond while he faces charges related to the deaths of two patients.
Dr. Kevin McCowan was released after posting $125,000 bond, reports WTVM.
McCowan and Nedra Dodds are suspected in a February 2013 and a June 2013 fatality, both of which occurred at Opulence Aesthetic Medicine.

According to police reports, April Jenkins died in February 2013 died after going into cardiac arrest following a fat-transfer procedure. Four months later, Erica Beaubrun was found by police and firefighters at the clinic, lying in a pool of blood after a buttocks reduction procedure in which silicone implants were removed.
EMTs determined she also went into cardiac arrest. The clinic allegedly waited more than 20 minutes before calling 9-1-1.

Dodds and McCowan face two counts of murder, aggravated battery and theft by deception.
