Student cooks up success through engineering and content creation (kennesaw.edu) — A Kennesaw State University engineering student is turning his First-Year Scholars research skills into a fast-growing cooking and social media venture based in Kennesaw. By treating recipes like engineering problems, he's built an audience of more than 500,000 views while sharpening both his content creation and academic goals in transportation engineering.
   

2. Wear all black to this family-friendly 'crow party' at the West Cobb Library this Friday (atlantaonthecheap.com) — Kennesaw families can head to West Cobb Regional Library this Friday, Oct. 2, for a free "crow party" with crafts, costume-style masks, and trinket trading from 6 to 7:30 p.m. All ages are welcome at the Dennis Kemp Lane branch, and guests are encouraged to wear black and bring small treasures a curious crow might collect.
   

3. Kennesaw Mountain Helps Set Record-Breaking Graduation Rate! (cobbk12.org) — Kennesaw-area families can celebrate a big milestone: Kennesaw Mountain High helped push Cobb County's graduation rate above 90% for the first time, with 96.5% of its seniors earning diplomas. For students who spent all four years there, the graduation rate soared to 99.7%, underscoring strong classroom support and consistent progress over last year.
   

4. Atlanta's Tiny Doors give viewers whimsical glimpse at city's history and culture (local3news.com) — Tiny Doors ATL, the whimsical public art project scattered around metro Atlanta, now includes a few miniature doors placed in Kennesaw alongside locations in Buckhead and Decatur. The artist says each door is meant to spark imagination and personal connection, with new World Cup-themed pieces recently added downtown that Kennesaw residents can seek out on their next trip into the city.
