Armed Robber At Large After Removing Ankle Monitor: Police
A man charged with armed robbery and home invasion is at large after police say he removed his ankle monitor while he was out on bond.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA β A man charged with armed robbery and home invasion is at large Thursday after authorities say he removed his ankle monitor and fled while he was out of jail on bond.
Israel Bland, 25, along with other suspects, committed a home invasion robbery on Cannonball Court,
Lawrenceville, May 16, 2016, according to Gwinnett County Police Department. During the robbery, three people, including Bland, were shot.
Bland was charged with five counts of aggravated assault, armed robbery, home invasion robbery, several counts of false imprisonment, and possession of a firearm during the commission of the crimes. He remained in jail awaiting trial until Feb. 10, when he was released on bond and ordered to wear an ankle monitor.

On June 30, Bland removed his ankle monitor and fled. Blandβs bond has been revoked and charges have been obtained for removing the ankle monitor. Bland is still at large.
