A benefit in honor of the children we lost...for the "lost" children. A fun and inspiring night for bereaved parents and the community!
We unite on one night to honor our children by making an impact in the lives of at-risk children in India.
The money raised will go to the preschool program at Rahab’s Rope, an anti-human trafficking organization. School is not free in India, so many slum children never start school or do not stay in school past the 2nd grade. Research shows that the longer ...an at-risk child in India stays in school, the less likely she will be forced into the commercial sex trade. The average age of entry into the sex trade in India is 11yrs old, and 200 girls and women enter the commercial sex trade in India every day.
Unfortunately, many slum families cannot afford to send their children to school or do not see a reason to educate their daughters. Once on the street, young girls are easy targets for human trafficking. Read more about the work being done at Rahab's Rope at www.rahabsrope.com
