Find out why Lincoln ended up in "jail" while directing traffic at a busy intersection! He lost his family, his friends, his home.... Lincoln found new friends at Furkids, but we need help in finding Lincoln a new family and forever home.
Adopting is a rewarding experience for everyone, especially the animals. Please consider saving a life today!

Lincoln was picked up in a busy intersection by Animal Control. The traffic light was out and Lincoln was there directing traffic. Perhaps because he wasn’t wearing the mandatory orange vest, Animal Control took him to a high kill animal shelter. Furkids quickly bailed him out. Now it is time for this handsome boy to find the loving home he so deserves. At 72 lbs., Lincoln is BIG! ... a big baby that is! Lincoln’s favorite place to hang out is on the sofa with you. If you’ll rub his belly he will even let you hold the remote! You can watch a Lifetime movie just as long as Lincoln can be cuddled next to you. He’s such a lovebug! Lincoln gets along well with other dogs and will be a good match for a home with other large breed dogs. He is a great fit for an adult home or a home with older (teen) children, too, but not with young children. Lincoln makes short work of squeaky toys. If you have an overpopulation of squeaky toys in your home, Lincoln is at your service! A mix of Lab and Rottie, Lincoln is intelligent and eager to please. He may look intimidating but he is a sweet, gentle boy. You will not find a more handsome and devoted dog than Lincoln.
Since Lincoln is 4 years old, his adoption fee is $275 unless you have a senior or military ID, then you get an extra 25% off! Furkids adoption fees for all dogs include the following: Bordetella vaccinations, a heartworm test, deworming, microchipping, flea treatment, and spaying or neutering, along with any other necessary medical care prior to adoption. Apply now to meet Lincoln at Furkids.org or email dogadoptions@furkids.org with questions.
