This year's forum, which is open to the public, will focus on writers and writing.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Georgia Gwinnett College is having a party for its namesake.

In partnership with the Gwinnett County Public Library, GGC will host the seventh annual Button Gwinnett Day next Wednesday, April 12.

The event, in Cisco Auditorium, Building C, is a celebration of both the county's history and the Georgia signer of the Declaration of Independence for whom the county is named.
