Gwinnett Tech Professor Dies in Loganville-Area Wreck
The incident happened Thursday afternoon on U.S. Highway 78.

A Gwinnett Technical College professor was killed in a Thursday wreck on U.S. Highway 78 near Loganville.
Victoria Albee, 55, died at the scene after the car she was driving was struck by a pickup truck when she attempted to cross the highway at Krisam Creek Drive, the Gwinnett Daily Post reported. The truck collided with the driver’s side of Albee’s vehicle.
Albee is from Lawrenceville, the newspaper reported.

According to the Gwinnett Tech website, Albee was the program director for the Health Information Technology’s Feet on the Ground Certificate Training Program.
No charges have been filed against the truck driver, who police said had the right of way.
